Company history

October/1947	With the dismantling of old Mitsubishi Corporation, the company wasestablishedby the comrades in such as the Metal department and the machine department.
August/1961	Merger with the Matsufuji Shokai Co., Ltd.
December/1963	We took over the business rights of the Nissin firm Co., Ltd. and established the Niigata office.
November/1964	We merged Sakurai special steel Co., Ltd. and established the Osaka branch.
November/1966	We separated the warehouse and transportation sector and established Taiyo Shounn Co., Ltd.
October/1967	We establishedthe Yahata Office.
July/1979	Capital increase to 100 million yen
May/1987	We established the Nagoya Office.
April/1992	The Yahata busness office was promoted to the kyusyu branch offie.
January/1999	We established the Urayasu office.
May/2000	We established the Nagasaki branch office.
February/2004	We established the Taiyo special metal company in China (Zhejiang Province).
May/2004	The head office was moved to Shintomi, Cyuuou-ku.
January/2006	We established the Hiroshima branch office.
April/2006	The ISO14001 certification was acquired.
April/2006	The capital was increased to 300 million yen.
June/2006	The Taiyo Commerce Trade company was established in China (Pinghu、Zhejiang Provnce)
October/2008	We established the Taiyo Korea Co., Ltd. in Busan, Korea.
September/2011	The second Fukumachi warehouse was constructed.
January/2012	Company history compilation “Sixty five years step of the Taiyo Shoji ~beyond the waves~“
February/2012	We established the Siam Taiyo Shoji Co., Ltd.
December/2013	The capital was increased to 400 million yen.
May/2014	Established Shanghai sub-branch of TAIYO COMMERCE TRADE COMPANY
September/2015	We established the TIDYMETAL Co., Ltd. in Thailand (merger).

December/2018	Establish TAIYO SUBIC PHILIPPINES CORPORATION. in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Philippines.
